If you're delayed on one of our trains for 30 minutes or more, you may be entitled to compensation

Claim Delay Repay
If your LNER train is delayed by more than 30 minutes, you're entitled to compensation. If you booked directly with LNER but did not opt into One-click Delay Repay, or if you bought your ticket elsewhere, you can still claim Delay Repay within 28 days of travel.

How does Delay Repay work?
If you arrive at your destination late because an LNER train was cancelled or delayed, you can submit a claim. The kind of claim depends on how late you were:
30-59 minutes delay
50% of the cost of a single ticket
50% of the cost of the relevant portion* of a return ticket
60-119 minutes delay
100% of the cost of a single ticket
100% of the cost of the relevant portion of a return ticket
120+ minutes delay
100% of the cost of a single ticket
100% of the cost of a return ticket**
30-59 minutes delay
50% of the cost of a single ticket
50% of the cost of the relevant portion* of a return ticket
60-119 minutes delay
100% of the cost of a single ticket
100% of the cost of the relevant portion of a return ticket
120+ minutes delay
