Delay Repay

If you're delayed on one of our trains for 30 minutes or more, you may be entitled to compensation

How does Delay Repay work?

If you arrive at your destination late because an LNER train was cancelled or delayed, you can submit a claim. The kind of claim depends on how late you were:

  • 30-59 minutes delay

    50% of the cost of a single ticket

    50% of the cost of the relevant portion* of a return ticket

  • 60-119 minutes delay

    100% of the cost of a single ticket

    100% of the cost of the relevant portion of a return ticket

  • 120+ minutes delay

    100% of the cost of a single ticket

    100% of the cost of a return ticket**
