You've got to have a curry

Bradford curry is legendary and there are more than 200 restaurants to choose from. Many are brilliant but the legendary Rick Stein had a particularly good meal at Karachi a few years ago and we trust Rick when it comes to food.

Starry food

For a Michelin starred experience, try Cona. This Halal steak restaurant serves the best cuts of beef from around the world. Everything is about simplicity and flavour and if you like meat then there’s no excuse not to book.

Cheap and very cheerful

If you simply fancy some fish and chips then Mother Hubbard’s is the place to go. It’s been around for decades but the food has just got better and better. Expect queues around lunchtime.

Wuthering heights

How about a meal in the house where the Brontës were born? Emily’s is the perfect place for a coffee or glass of wine as well as some truly delicious food. And then you can explore the house itself.
