Our Competitions

For a chance to win, you must enter the competition on the LNER mobile app between 27 August and 28 September 2025. The competition closes at 23.59 on 28 September 2025.

LNER will notify the winner by email within 48 hours of the closing date, using the email address provided on the LNER Perks account at the time of entering the prize. The winner will have 48 hours to accept the prize before another prize winner is randomly selected.

There is one prize available only. The prize is for:

1. Two First Class return tickets for travel on London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train services between any two LNER calling stations only.

2. 1,000 Perks credit which is subject to standard terms and conditions.

3. 2 tickets to the Mercury Prize Awards at the Utilita Arena on the 16th October.

4. One overnight stay at INNSiDE Newcastle on the 16th October for the Mercury Award.
   This stay is for the date of the awards only and cannot be changed or re-arranged to another date.

LNER Perks credit can be used as either full or part payment on LNER Advance ticket transactions only made using the LNER mobile app.

Perks credit must be spent within two years from the date of issue.

It is the responsibility of the winner to arrange their transport to and from LNER calling stations. Any additional costs incurred during the trip must be covered by the winner - this includes train journeys to and from non-LNER calling stations and travel to and from INNSiDE hotel. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or prize alternative available.

The prize is only available to members of LNER Perks and the winner must be a member of LNER Perks at the time of entry.

The winner will be randomly selected from the database of entrants who enter.

Promotional codes for two First Class LNER return tickets will be supplied upon acceptance of the prize by the winner. Travel must then be booked by the winner by visiting Claim your prize (lner.co.uk) and the promotional codes should be entered in the promotional codes box. It is the winners responsible to keep the promotional codes safe, as these cannot be reissued.

LNER travel is subject to availability and excludes peak dates. The winner may be required to consider alternative dates if their first date is fully booked or if engineering work is taking place.

The competition can only be entered via the LNER mobile app. There is no alternative method of entry.

This competition is open to UK residents over 18 years of age.

The winner’s guest must be over 13 years of age to attend the Mercury Awards.

Employees and family of LNER or any agencies connected with the set-up of this competition are not eligible to enter.

LNER is not responsible for invalid email addresses being registered by the account holder.

Details of the prize winner (surname and county) will be made available for a period of 6 weeks following the determination of the winning entry, unless the winner objects or requests a reduction in the information published upon being notified of their win.
